Terms of service
Order procedure
- When placing an order, a minimum deposit of 30 % is required before the product is made. If a customer prefers to see the artwork draft prior to the product being made, the customer must advise the Punchprinter at the time of ordering and allow 24 hours for the draft to be sent through. The order will then not proceed to completion without the customer’s approval. After the customer has given their approval, a minimum of 24 hours is required for the order to be completed.
- In case of a customer changing the mind, no cash refund will be made. However, a gift voucher will be issued for the same amount received. No cash or voucher refund will be given if the production has commenced.
- In the case of any personalised message on the product, the customer must review the spelling and information provided. Punchprint will not refund or remake the item if customer misspells or provides incorrect information. Any products that have to be remade will be charged at 50% of original sale price. However, in the rare event that the fault is ours, Punchprint will replace the product at no cost to the customer.
For laser crystals
- Laser etched crystal is a grey scaled image etched inside the transparent solid K9 crystal. The image can be done in 2-dimensional (2D) or 3-dimentional (3D) configuration.
- After we receive the customer’s order, Punchprint will send the artwork draft to the customer to show the image artwork – to either your mobile phone or email for the customer’s approval. After the customer approves the draft, our Punchprinters will produce your order.
- In the case of a 3D image, we use computer-software to generate the depth (Z axis) from the approved draft and create a 3D module. As the 3D module is computer generated, the outcome may not turn out as “true to life” due to the software limitation and photo layout.
- For example, if the photo the customer provides has some item covering part of the face, then the distance between the person’s face and that item will be a blank space as the software cannot regenerate the missing part of the face. Customers must bear in mind that if they have approved the draft our Punchprinters send to them and they are not satisfied with the final product in 3D, Punchprint will replace the product in 2D crystal on the same shape but refunds will not be made.
- Punchprint reserves the rights not to show the draft in 3D unless the customer agrees to pay for the conversion fee, which is charged at $20 per person for half body and $30 per person for full body. The 3D conversion fee is non-refundable.

Colour products (Rock photo, colour crystal and phone cover)
- Colour products include all items where the colour photo has been transferred onto special mediums. The quality of photo provided from the customer is directly linked to the quality of final product. When a customer purchases one of our colour products, a Punchprinter will recommend to the customer the suitable product and size for your image, which will be written under Recommended Size section on the invoice.
- If a customer insists they want a product other than the recommended size, they should be aware that the product quality will not be optimal. In such a case, Punchprint will not refund or remake the product for the customer.
Nature of transfer mediums and making process
- The Rock Photo medium is intended to imitate the natural rough look of the rock. No two pieces are identical. They are not perfect shaped and there may be some flaws such as small bubbles or dots on the surface. Punchprint will try our best to make sure that those flaws do not appear on the faces of the photograph.
- Rock Photo and Colour Crystal products are to be displayed and stored indoors. They are not suitable for outdoors as they react with sunlight and heat. Rock Photos and colour crystals are fragile and will break if dropped. Once the product leaves the store, Punchprint is not liable for the damage of item.
- Heat is used to transfer colour onto the medium; hence, there might be colour variations when compared original photo to the final product. The level of variation strongly depends on the quality of original photo provided.
Engraved products
- Key rings are made of nickel-plated brass. It is not advisable to wear them as a pendant. On the other hand, pendants are made of a medical grade 316 stainless steel and are safe to wear on your body.
- All engraved items are subject to normal wear and tear. If a customer uses it, the item will get scratched over time and the engraved photo might not appear as clear as before. However, if the customer does not use it, the engraved effect will last forever.
Customer supplied Materials
- All items brought in by customers for engraving must be inspected by our specialised technician. Please allow up to 7 days for the service to be completed.
- Goods supplied by clients are done on ‘your supply/your risk’ basis. Different material composition gives a different engraving result. If a customer agrees to proceed with the order, and in the rare case a mistake occurs, Punchprint will refund the engraving cost, but will not be liable for replacing the product.
- The engraving is cosmetic only and it does not affect the working of the item. Punchprint is not liable for the item’s warranty. Please contact your supplier if such problem arises.
- Punchprint is not able to engrave any restricted or copyrighted materials. Customers must ensure they have the right to use or reproduce the image or text they wish to engrave. Punchprint reserve the right not to engrave a job, should we find the material offensive, illegal or for any other reason.
